The Saikouisen Nihon Pro Mahjong Kyoukai hereby announces the establishment of the USA Headquarters from the 50th Season (2025).
Two professional tests were held in the United States in 2024, and 19 United States-based professionals are already Saikouisen members.
The goal is to “promote and develop mahjong without limitation of national borders and nationalities”, and we will continue our activities overseas with members belonging to the USA Headquarters.
In addition, we will establish a “Saikouisen USA League” which will be independent from the Saikouisen League in Japan, and operate the league with the goal of creating a USA Saikoui within a few years.
Saikouisen, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year, has taken a new step forward, and we hope that you will keep an eye on our future activities.
